Sweet 16 Contest Details

The Sweet 16 Contest is designed to further enhance the experience of
participating in the March Madness Contest by providing the participants
more opportunities to finish "in the money."

Participants who submit multiple entries into the contest are rewarded by
having a free entry automatically entered into the Sweet 16 Contest
for every additional entry submitted into the initial contest.   

(For instance:  If someone submits 2 entries in the initial contest,
 they get 1 entry automatically entered into the Sweet 16 Contest,
if they submit 3 entries, they get 2 entries, and so on.)

Do I have to register separately into the Sweet 16 Contest?
No.  By submitting multiple entries, you will automatically be registered into the Sweet 16 Contest. 

When do I make my picks for the Sweet 16 Contest?
After the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament is completed and the field of 16 is set.  An email will be sent to remind you to make your Sweet 16 Contest selections.  Click here for a demo.

If I submit multiple entries, do I have to make picks selections into the Sweet 16 Contest?
No, but why not?   It is already included, and it should be easier picking the NCAA champion from a field of 16.

Can I enter additional entries in the Sweet 16 Contest?
Yes.  As soon as registration closes for the initial contest, you will be able to update your profile and add as many entries as you like into the Sweet 16 Contest.  Each additional Sweet 16 Contest entries are a $20 donation each. Just click on Edit My Profile and enter the number of entries you want to make.

Can someone who did not participate in the initial contest participate in the Sweet 16 Contest?
Yes.  They just need to register for the contest and enter the number of entries they want to make into the Sweet 16 Contest.  Registration for the Sweet 16 Contest opens right after the NCAA tournament begins.

What is the point system for the Sweet 16 Contest?
It is similar to the regular contest, with a built-in tie-breaker.   For more details on that click here.
